This is a wonderful guitar from master luthier Toshiaki Matsuoka. In accordance with Japanese tradition, Toshiaki apprentices under his famous father Ryoji Matsuoka and when he had demonstrated that he had exceeded his father’s skill he took over the shop in 1986. I don’t know the exact year of this guitar but likely sometime in the 1980’s. It’s a wonderfully crafted instrument with a solid spruce top and Indian Rosewood back and sides. It has excellent action and beautiful sound, no cracks or damage.
There are some marks on the guitar as shown in the pictures but nothing serious. Frets are in good condition. Comes in a vintage Takamine hard case, case is dirty on the outside.
