Pearl PF-770 71-72 - Natural Acoustic Guitar Rare

$1,099.00

For sale is a Pearl PF-770 71-72 - Natural Acoustic Guitar in Good condition! This guitar has a bridge doctor installed to ensure years of stability and improved tone and volume!

This is an extremely rare Japanese guitar made by Hayashi for Pearl. They only made these for about 3 years. You probably know Pearl for their drums but if you don't know Hayashi you likely know some of the other brands that they produced such as Vox, Guyatone, FujiGen Gakki, Kanda Shokai (Greco), Hoshino Gakki (Ibanez), Nippon Gakki (Yamaha), Aria and Norlin (parent company of Gibson). At the time of manufacture of Pearl acoustics, a Mr Mamose worked there as a design engineer - a man of repute in the Japanese acoustic guitar market. From this early start designing Pearl acoustics, he went on to produce Rider guitars for a couple of years (1975-1976) before founding the Headway guitar line in 1977, which continues today. These are both highly sought-after brands with models demanding high prices in their native Japan. Yet again, these both remain quite unknown to the West.

Some dings and wear on the face but overall a great playing acoustic!
