This is a super rare Navigator (by ESP) Strat made in the early 1980s (probably made in 1982). Nowadays, ESP has a strong image of visual kei and super individuality, but Navigator is a traditional, high-quality line that will impress even connoisseurs, and is a highly acclaimed and expensive brand. It’s the top-of-the-line for ESP and made to be world class.
There is a recent trend of re-evaluating vintage guitars, and there are many guitars with extravagant features that are unimaginable these days. This machine is one of those, with a carefully selected Japanese ash body that conveys the quality as soon as you see it, a maple neck with a strong V curve, and a rosewood fingerboard that shines black, giving you a glimpse of its tremendous potential.
This guitar is also loaded with rare Fender Custom Shop pickups inspected by Abigail Ybarra. She has been with Fender for a long time and is also famous for hand winding artists pickups like Jimi Hendrix! She is known for her meticulous method of hand winding pickups thus why these are so sought after!
