Charles Dick Custom Handmade L-0 12 Fret Style Brazilian Rosewood 2005

$6,999.00

This little baby sure packs a powerful punch! Handmade by Indiana Master Luthier Charles Dick (bio below), this guitar has some amazing features! Let’s start with the obvious, the stunning Brazilian Rosewood that has some mesmerizing grain patterns! If you can even find Braz like this anymore you are likely to have to pay $10K or more just for the up charge! Braz is legendary for its tone, and this guitar is a great example of why. It has a huge sound for such a modest sized guitar! The guitar dimensions are modeled after a Gibson L-0 (see details below). However, Gibson never built one with this wood quality or attention to detail. Check out the gold MOP inlays in the fretboard and the top-of-the-line Waverly tuners ($450 alone!). The top is a tight-grained Sitka Spruce. Charles spared no expense on this guitar, it will be the pride of your collection and the envy of your friends.

The guitar was built in 2005 but has been in the private collection of the builder since that time and presents as new. There is one insignificant finish scratch the back, no other flaw that I could see anywhere. I am working with Charles to part with some of his collection of amazing handmade guitars and passing the savings along to you. You would not be able to commission a guitar with these features from an experienced builder for anything close to this price, this is your opportunity to own an heirloom quality guitar! Charles had already been building guitars for three decades when he crafted this one, his experience shows in every aspect.

The guitar comes in a nice TKL tweed case with keys.
