$599.00

For sale is an Aria Dreadnought Ryoji Matsuoka D-40 Rare! MIJ! 1970’s in Fair Condition.

Aria Dreadnoughts are some of the best acoustics Aria ever produced and this one was handmade by master Luther Ryoji Matsuoka! Matsuoka is extremely well known for his own exceptional classical guitars but in his early years he built a handful of guitar for Aria that carry his special wooden label. This is is from around 1974 give or take a year or two. The guitar sounds amazing with a nice full tone.

The guitar has some clouding in the finish on the back and sides and some minor dings as shown in the pictures. See pictures for details on the condition. Comes in a soft case, case has a rip on the outside.

The neck is bowed and unfortunately the truss rod is all chewed up so it would need repaired or replaced. Can still be played as-is, but the action is on the higher side.
